Nanowrimo Day 9
Tuesday, November 9th, 2010
I went over 20,000 today. Though I’m still a bit behind where I think I should be, that’s not bad. I made some changes to the outline, but haven’t thought them all the way to the end of the story.
The other day I introduced some silver rings. I’m still not sure what significance they’ll have, but I’ve got this feeling they should be there. And if the story ends and they don’t come back, I can always go back and delete the references to them.
Also in the outline Gary disappeared and I didn’t have a place where he came back before his mother picked him up. So I put that in too.
I went to the Nanowrimo site today to update my word count and it wasn’t as slow as it has been. I still haven’t finished updating my personal info. The last time I tried to do it, I hit the wrong key combination and got thrown out of Internet Explorer. Maybe I’ll try again tomorrow.
No new characters added, but I did give names to some of the city officials. Got to remember to add their names to the character list. Take care, Barbara
